David Hinchey

Senior Manager of Major Permitting/Environmental Lead – Generation Development, PSEG

Mr. Hinchey currently leads the Development Environmental Affairs group responsible for environmental regulatory, policy, outreach, licensing and permitting on PSEG Corporate Development projects. Having been in the environmental field for 25 years and joining PSEG 2007, Mr. Hinchey has served in several different rolls from leading an environmental services group for a large fossil power generation fleet, to being responsible for strategic management of environmental project design, compliance, remediation, restoration design/implementation and development of large-scale generation, renewable and transmission projects.

Mr. Hinchey has established and now leads the Environmental, Regulatory, Policy, Permitting and Licensing team for PSEG Development. His notable contributions include spearheading the development of the New Jersey Wind Port for the NJEDA, leading environmental initiatives for PSEG’s offshore generation and transmission projects, managing the permitting process for multiple combined cycle generation projects, modernizing PSEG Power’s environmental and regulatory systems, and assists in driving the company’s focus toward renewable energy efforts.
